To build a viable African Diaspora Community is a powerful and meaningful goal that encompasses a wide range of initiatives focused on unity, empowerment, cultural preservation, economic development, and social justice of all those of African descent.
Key pillars and strategies for building a strong African Diaspora Community:
1. Cultural Connection and Identity: which entails celebrating African heritage, promoting Africans cultures in diaspora through festivals, art, music, food, literature, and traditional practices. It also includes excavating African history, colonialism, the transatlantic slave trade, and the contributions of African descendants to human and scientific advancement globally. While encouraging African languages through storytelling, preservation and teaching of African oral traditions.
